About the Author

Franco Antonetti is an American-Italian born in 1944 who, as he states, "loves this country as much as his next breath."  Educated in Italy and New Jersey, Mr.Antonetti dreamed of becoming a success in the world of trucks and trucking.  His extraordinary rise at Mack and his co-ownership of one of the best forklift companies in the US was meteoric.  However, he insists that his desire was really to "live in the greatest country on earth and to have a family."  Today, he is retired, and when he is not doing things for his grandchildren, he writes and tells stories, something he learned to do very early in life.  Mr.Antonetti is married and lives in Gilbert, Arizona.
