With Mars Rover

NASA scientists said on Thursday they had lost contact with the robot rover Spirit on Mars and were unsure what had caused the problem. – ABC News 

One person knows what the problem is on Mars….
His name is Marty.  He lives there. 
This is his story.

First Men on the Moon

Jimmy has collected enough space junk to complete his rocket.  His plan is to fly to Mars’ closest moon, Phobos.  Marty doubts that Jimmy will ever get off the ground, so

Cow Troubles (Pilot)

Marty has had it up to his hat with the rovers, probes, and other space junk that keeps landing on his farm.  He also has a plump cow with a voracious and destructive appetite.  Could there be one solution to both problems?  Meanwhile, Jimmy (Marty’s neighbor), who has seen every Earth-based sci-fi movie ever made (and believes most of them are true) is building a spaceship in his barn using spare parts from Marty’s junk pile.   Marty’s rebellious teenage daughter Clarita joins a hardcore punk band.

he agrees to go along for the ride.  The rocket does get off the ground, and Jimmy is so surprised that he faints, hits his head and is knocked out cold.  Marty is able to take over the controls and safely get the rocket to the moon.  Once there, they discover that there is something growing beneath the surface… and it’s not cheese!
