mystery of who accomplished what hundreds of fierce bulls couldn’t. Can
they solve the crime while preserving the reputation of the greatest
matador ever? Unfortunately, the greatest bullfighter’s murderer isn’t

Author's Bio:
I'm a 35-year veteran of the classroom and
I've written hundreds of articles for local, regional, and national
publications. The Greatest is my second venture into long fiction.
Relying on the adage that one should write about what he knows best, I
drew from my experiences as my
inspiration for this must-read novel.
Prominent Person Endorsements:
“The story of young Lemuel and his exploits was
engaging, and the author does a commendable job of inhabiting his young
character’s heartbroken yet untamed consciousness. Also, the author does a
good job of delaying gratification for the reader by flashing forward to
the detective story, just at the point when we most want to hear about Lemuel’s amazing ascent from orphanhood to bullfighting stardom.”… “The
novel certainly has an interesting premise.”… “What a wonderful idea for a
story! I love the character of Lemuel. He’s such a charming child, and you
really root for him to escape the clutches of his negligent aunt and
uncle.”
Movie Sales:
The color, music, pageantry, and excitement of La
Fiesta Brava, landscapes as varied and dramatic as snowbound Downeast
Maine and tropical Mexico, plus a compelling story of murder and intrigue
combine to make for a wonderfully entertaining film.
Author’s Qualifications:
Walter S. Adams is a life-long fan of the corridas. Also, he did extensive researching to make sure his novel rings true. He
accurately captures the facts and the mystique of La Fiesta Brava
and blends it with the intensity of a good detective/action thriller.
