Synopsis:
A network correspondent, embroiled in an affair with a famous mistress, has gone missing in a tiny Caribbean nation, and the TV brass want him found, quickly and quietly. Divorced and down-on-his-luck, P.I. Marty Kowlanko flies from the mean streets of Los Angeles to the sandy beaches of the Caribbean, only to find himself in culture shock, and with a tough job to do. His quarry has vanished .

Aided by his newfound Caribbean friends, and contemplating the shortcomings of his own solitary existence stateside, Marty follows a trail of big business greed and political upheaval that stretch across nations. With time ticking against him, he has to rely on his wits and wit to survive and get the job done in an atmosphere of hot sun and hot sand, hot blood and violence.
