Synopsis:
Where do old spies go when it's time to be 'put out to pasture'? For Frank Spezzio, changes at the CIA left him out in the cold. The loss of his livelihood, combined with the tragic death of longtime girlfriend, drove him into seclusion. He traded in his cloak and dagger for cabin and a fishing rod on the lake in rural Oregon.

Now, Uncle Sam wants him back.

When a private jet crashes in the mountain wilderness of Colombia, the paths of two men continents apart suddenly converge. For Frank 'Buck' Spezzio, the event is an opportunity to reassemble his old team of CIA operatives, return to his roots and find renewed purpose in his life. His mission - get to Colombia and track down the jet's survivors. For Daniel Ortez, narcotics kingpin and Colombian political heavyweight, the crash of his airplane is more than the loss of an expensive toy. One of the passengers, his brother, is returning from prison in Panama with information vital to Daniel's operations. Both men are looking for the same man, but only one will find him.

The Old Spies Club moves from continental U.S. to the Colombian rain forest as Spezzio, and his reassembled team of veteran operatives attempt to find the proverbial 'needle in a haystack': a small airplane in a big jungle. Simultaneously, a squad of paramilitary soldiers loyal to Ortez begin their own search for the jet. Neither group can anticipate the role of Colombia's elusive Yupka natives deep within the rain forest as they hunt for their man.
