Was Stonehenge literally a stone hinge for a doorway to a parallel
universe? And is it an active passageway still?
Synopsis:
Over the last twenty
years television series like X-Files, Unsolved Mysteries, Sightings, UFO’s
and Encounters focused on the public’s thirst for inexplicable phenomena.
It is rare to stand in a supermarket checkout line without seeing
headlines about the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot and big-eyed alien
abductors. Bookstores growing sections devoted to works explaining
everything from UFO’s to Stonehenge are testaments of continuing and
growing consumer interest.
Each theory is
specialized, honed to explain a specific mystery. Each generates more
opponents than supporters. Yet the number of people interested in
esoteric matters is legion and, if the popularity of television shows and
book sales are indicators, seems to grow dramatically every year.
What if a single theory
unified and explained a majority of these enigmas? What if the same
theory reached back into our past and demonstrated ancient people dealt
with these same mysteries? Otherworld presents such a theory – a theory
born from a single question: What if Stonehenge really was a stone hinge?
Combining contemporary
investigations with myths from around the world, Otherworld demonstrates
these mysteries have been with us always. Then, again using ancient
Celtic and Amerindian myths, presents evidence that prehistoric man had
the ability to sometimes move between parallel dimensions, a theory that
recently occupied the cover of Discovery magazine. Using simple
explanations of quantum physics, Otherworld demonstrates how these myths
may be much more than strange stories handed down through thousands of
years. They may in fact not only provide explanation for many of our
current mysteries but they may also be key to unlocking the doorway to
other worlds.
Bio:
A thirty-year toy industry veteran, Steve developed a deep interest
and reverence for things ancient early in life. One of the more than 200
games Steve published is Man, Myth and Magic, a role-playing game that
required massive research of vanished civilizations. The success he
enjoyed in the game industry allowed Steve to travel extensively visiting
mysterious and spiritual sites around the world.
On one of these trips in 1978, the first in a series of dreams initiated a
journey of more than twenty years of research that wound its way through
dreams, ancient cultures and religions. The results of which is
DreamShaper.
