Logline:
Adam and Eve and Steve. Oh, my!  Sex, religion, politics, Michael Jackson – is anything off limits?  Not when the professor of this hip university is Marilyn Manson.  Higher education gets turned on its gothic head in a comedy that asks you to pay attention, raise your hand before speaking and, most importantly, think for yourself.  You are the student. The school is Temple U.

Synopsis:
On November 22, 2004, shock rocker Marilyn Manson surprised an unsuspecting class of students at Temple University in Philadelphia when he became the professor of an Art and Society class for the day, as part of MTV's "Stand-In" series.

In this version of that event, Manson is a storyteller. Temple U is his story.

Temple U is an American satire told through two interweaved stories. One is about a sexually bored family man who talks his wife into trying an “open marriage.” The other is the story of Adam and Eve, retold for a new generation.

Manson’s Adam and Eve is based upon the Bible but with a twist. When Adam asks God for a partner, God first creates Steve, thinking the two men will make good friends. When the men become a little too friendly, God creates Eve to satisfy their carnal desires.

The only problem is that Eve and Steve aren't attracted to each other, only to Adam, who is in turn attracted to both of them. God tells Adam he can only be with Eve, and only if he makes a lifelong commitment to her through a wedding ceremony. Adam hesitantly agrees to the terms.

God “chooses” Steve to wear a fabulous robe and preside as priest over Adam and Eve’s beautiful outdoor wedding. But Steve is too upset to begin the ceremony. He runs away, and Adam chases him. Eve freaks, eats the forbidden fruit, kills Steve and leaves with Adam.

What does it all mean? That’s for you to decide. Welcome to Temple U.

Author Bio:
I have been writing with the goal of selling my work since age 17 (I’m 37). I was a fan of Prince and wrote a novel based on one of his songs. A few days after graduating high school, I drove from Indiana to Minneapolis to get my book to Prince, only to hear from one of his managers that they don’t accept unsolicited material.

That was then, this is now. With the Swetky Literary Agency representing me, rejection is history. I am a confident writer proud as hell of my latest effort, Temple U. I think Temple U is going to blow audiences out of their seats – but don’t take my word for it. Please let my agent, Faye Swetky, send you a copy of the script. Thank you.
