vegetables. He is a 34-year-old male who lost "over 8 kilos in a month
with the method described in the book - "And I didn't have to starve
myself!"
Dieting Is for Dummies is written in a deliberately humorous,
colloquial style – think "P.J. O'Rourke goes healthy.” It deals just as
much with the social factors in eating (family/workday eating habits,
holidays, peer pressure) as it does with specific foods. Several
tried-and-tested recipes are included. ("You haven't lived until you've
tasted my Diet Chocolate Cake!")
Author's Bio:

Yngve, born 1969, is a freelance illustrator, cartoonist and licensed
masseur (no, really).
His published novels include Parry's Protocol (1993, revised 1999,
Web serial); Darc Ages (1995, revised and published 2000 through
Xlibris Corp.); The Straw Man (1996); Alien Beach (1997, Web
serial); Terra Hexa (1998, to be published in Sweden, 9/2004); The Argus Project
