About the Author
Kathleen Galajda lives in Rochester, New York.  Her passion is writing.  She has been married for twenty-six years.  She loves to garden when not writing.  Her first book, The Spiders Meet the Children, was her children’s favorite.  In addition to working as a freelance novelist, she is also a published poet, with one of her poems appearing in this book.

About the Book
 This story takes place in Jefferson County, where Laura Lee Glen has suddenly found herself alone in the world following the death of her parents.  Not knowing what to do, she realizes that leaving Rochester is the best thing for her.  Answering an ad in the newspaper to rent out a cottage, Laura meets Stephen.  The only problem is that Stephen died years ago.  Thus begins a journey that Laura never dreamed she would make.  She now has to try to balance reality and fantasy.  Is she really talking to a ghost...or has she taken complete leave of her senses? 

 

Travel with this troubled girl as she tries to understand herself along with the world around her.  Could Laura really take her own life to be with someone who does not exist except in spirit?  Has madness crept into her lonely world, creating one that does not exist?
